Most web hosting is done on a shared server.  Digicom has shared servers that we max out at 70% of demand, while many other of the “big guys” will put 1000’s of customers on a single server which will max it out. So when you start out, your website is fast, but over time, it gets slower and slower as they fill up the server with other customers.
